![]() ![]() ![]() There is no warlock/martial adept dual-progression PrC (Jade Phoenix Mage can't be entered by Warlocks due to requiring actual spells). Note that to get to Greater essences, you need at least 11 levels in warlock. ![]() Hindering blast is a will save vs the slow spell basically. Incarnum Blast is nice because if any part of an enemy's alignment is opposed to yours, it must make a fort save or be dazed for a round. Noxious Blast is a fort save or be nauseated for 1 minute, which means the affected opponent can only make a single move action each round. Greater essences actually have stuff worthwhile. None of the other essences are worthwhile for debuffing unless you absolutely need Beshadowed Blast to blind stuff for a rogue to SA it and even then there are much better ways for the rogue to get SA damage than requiring you to spend an invocation on it when you could have gotten 24 hour flight instead. Those are the only two Least essences you could use for debuffing.įor Lesser essences there's Deteriorating Blast which lowers all forms of DR on the enemy by 5, but it's a fort save which has already been noted as typically being good for monsters. Sickening isn't as good since it targets a usually stronger save (fort) and the sickened condition can't actually escalate to nauseated. What kind of debuffs do you want to use with glaive? Frightful Blast can definitely help with a more fear-focused build or party. Getting a size increase might work, but there's also the Inhuman Reach feat which explicitly works to give you 15-20 foot reach with a reach weapon if you're small or medium. Or is it not a touch attack anymore?Īnyway, if you're going for debuffing then it's definitely useful, but you might want to get some sort of extra reach. "Let" is perhaps not the right word here unless you're allowed to use Power Attack with it, and based on what you just said about your DM I doubt he'll let you PA with it since it's still a touch attack. I'm asking because the wayback machine doesn't have them stored.įound a very interesting crit heavvy build:ġ Warblade 1 (Two-Weapon Fighting, Weapon Focus: Kukri)Ħ Warblade 6 (Improved Two-Weapon Fighting)ĩ Warblade 9 (Combat Reflexes, Improved Critical: Kukri)ġ2 Warblade 12 (+1 dex, Weapon Specialization: Kukri)ġ5 Warblade 15 (Greater Two-Weapon Fighting)ġ7 Warblade 17 (Run (or some other bonus feat))ġ - Steel Wind (Iron), Sudden Leap (Tiger), Sapphire Nightmare Blade (Diam)Ħ - Change: Sapphire Nightmare Blade (Diam) to: Mind over Body (Diam)Ĩ - Change: Sudden Leap (Tiger) to: Death From Above (Tiger)ġ0 - Change: Iron Heart Surge (Iron) to: Dancing Mongoose (Tiger)ġ3 - Swooping Dragon Strike (Tiger) (nothing like a good stun option!)ġ4 - Change: Steel Wind (Iron) to: Quicksilver Motion (Diam)ġ6 - Change: Dancing Mongoose (Tiger) to: Raging Mongoose (Tiger) Tleilaxu_Ghola 's Feral Dreadlord (Warblade heavy ToB Sneak Attack optimization)ĬantripN's Phoenix the Fierce (Crackdown build).
